ABSTRACT Mud stabilized with straw was used to cast two types of blocks using steel and wooden moulds at different moisture contents. The blocks have the same dimensions of 450 by 225 by 225mm respectively.Six (6) samples of blocks were tested for strength, using the hydraulic compression machine.
